Postpartum Team Coordinator
passionate, warm, intuative
Welcome to Madam Doula and my page. I am so happy you're here!

I know picking a doula to join your birth team is a big decision. If you're overwhelmed and need help figuring out where to start, you are in the right place. Over the last four years, I have had the immense privilege and joy of witnessing and supporting 130 births (and counting) all over the DMV. Being a birth doula and small business owner has been the most magical experience. For me, nothing is as fulfilling as supporting growing families to create an environment of clarity, calm, confidence, and empowerment around their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. I love blending a holistic, intuitive, and evidence-based approach to meet each family where they are at. At this point in my doula journey, I am thrilled to take two clients a month to promote better work-life balance and provide the best care to the families I support.

When I am not basking in the magic of birth, you can find me in my home in Reston, Virginia, running errands to Trader Joe's or enjoying a cup of coffee at Lake Anne Coffee and Wine Bar. I love spending time with my husband, John, reading, walking, gardening, traveling, and whipping up a big pot of something warm and nourishing. On weekends, you can find me keeping up my Russian-American hospitality traditions, hosting friends for dinner, throwing parties, and housing out-of-town family and friends.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little more about me. I attend homebirths up to an hour and a half away from Reston and the following birth locations: Premier Birth Center, Birth Care Birth Center, INOVA Fair Oaks, INOVA Fairfax, INOVA Loudon, Stone Springs, INOVA Alexandria, VHC, Reston, Shady Grove, and Fredrick Hospital. If you're unsure if I attend births at your birth location, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would love to meet you and hear more about your birth and postpartum needs. All consultations are complimentary!
