Hi, I’m Fabiana! I was born and raised in NOVA and am proudly half Costa Rican, half Brazilian. I speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Outside of birth work, I’m a kick-ass powerlifter, soccer player, and single mom to my daughter, Alejandra (7). My other greatest creations are my surrobabies, Kaya (4) and Nara (2). Truthfully, I was doula-ing long before I realized I was doula-ing. While working at a domestic violence shelter, I found myself advocating for women whose first language wasn’t English. That experience opened my eyes to how deeply women need someone in their corner and naturally led me into birth work. Then I had my daughter at home, and that experience solidified my passion for birth. I felt empowered, powerful, and deeply connected to my body and I knew I wanted to help other women feel that way, too. Becoming a surrogate later only deepened my love for supporting LGBTQ+ families and the many beautiful ways families are created. I believe every woman deserves to feel heard, safe, informed, and empowered to trust her body and advocate for herself. I support families at home, birth centers, and hospitals. I’m here to listen, advocate, get hands-on, ride the waves with you, and remind you of your strength when you need it most.
