Fun, Confident, Empathetic
Jasmine Wigfall is a Perinatal Systems Navigator, high-risk birth and postpartum doula, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, Maternal Mental Health Responder, placenta encapsulation specialist, and herbalist dedicated to improving maternal health outcomes through education, advocacy, and holistic care. As a doula, Jasmine helps families understand the birth process, reduce fear through education, and build the confidence to make informed decisions. She is especially passionate about teaching partners how to actively support the birthing person and about creating environments where families feel safe, respected, and supported. As a Maternal Mental Health Responder, she also brings a trauma-informed lens to her work, recognizing and responding to the emotional and psychological needs that can arise throughout the perinatal period. Jasmine is a trained herbalist who integrates holistic wellness practices into her work. Jasmine's work is grounded in advocacy, culturally responsive care, and community empowerment. Through herbal education and natural wellness approaches, she helps clients support their physical and emotional well-being during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. She strives to create nurturing spaces where families can experience birth as a supported and transformative life event.
I am currently pursuing an Master's in social work at Virginia Commonwealth University. When I am not working or studying, I love cooking new recipes, reading, and taking weekend trips throughout the East Coast.
